A fanatic foodie & full time Mommy to 2 kids with a relatively new footprint on the web. A life long vegetarian due to both upbringing & choice, I've yet to completely explore the entire range of vegetarian dishes available (which I suspect, I'll need a couple more lifetimes than just one). A neuroscientist by academic training, I believe that food is one of the few essentials in life that require four out of the five senses to appreciate (I've yet to hear of a great dish that makes a sound, other than a sizzle, maybe Andrew Zimmern would know better).
I create fusion recipes with an Indian flavor to post on my blog while my baby naps (or else, she manages to unfailingly wedge herself between my legs & the stove whenever there is hot oil or something equally dangerous smoking away on the burner). To quote my 5 yr old "Panfusine food is when Mommy makes yummy new food that no ones ever heard of"
