I am a busy mom, wife, writer, cook, collector and patented inventor. Did I mention that I have a full-time day job and a third-shift job working for a publishing company my husband and I founded last year? There is no place I'd rather be than in the kitchen or in front of a typewriter.

What's your ideal/favorite meal?
Any thing with a poached egg. Especially grilled bread with a poached egg.

What's your favorite kitchen tool?
My cheese grater. Simple, but oh so useful.

What's something you'd like a chance to eat or cook?
I'd love to butcher a whole pig. I think it would give me a better understanding of how each part fits together.
